Throwback LLM Draft
Tonight we got together for some Lorwyn-Lorwyn-Morningtide drafting, as Peter had some packs left from the spring. It was a bit odd as there were just 4 of us, but fun none the less. I was pleased with how I did. Here’s my deck:
| 16 Land: | 10 Creatures: | 2 Artifacts: | 12 Other Spells: |
| 10 Plains | 1 Goldmeadow Harrier | 2 Wanderer’s Twig | 2 Coordinated Barrage |
| 6 Island | 1 Mosquito Guard | 2 Shields of Velis Vel | |
| 1 Judge of Currents | 1 Militia’s Pride | ||
| 1 Kinsbaile Skirmisher | 2 Negate | ||
| 1 Pestermite | 1 Glimmerdust Nap | ||
| 2 Avian Changeling | 1 Oblivion Ring | ||
| 1 Burtenton Bombardier | 2 Distant Melody | ||
| 1 Sower of Temptation | 1 Notorious Throng | ||
| 1 Reveillark |
I played Eric and his UW deck first. The game must have gone on for an hour at least. At the end he had 13 cards in his library and I had 12… thankfully I kept his Jace just short of milling me. The game finally ended when I sent everything in, four 1/1s against Jace (who had 10 loyalty counters iirc) and the rest against Eric. Paying 5 to the Pride added 5 points of damage and 5 tokens for a total of 9 points of damage to Eric. A post combat Notorious Throng added 9 1/1 flyers to my side of the board… more than enough at that point. Game over.
I went 1-2 with Jeff.. the last game being great fun. An awesome top-deck turned the game around on his last turn.
So I went 2-2 on games for the night… better than my usual record. I’m happy with how I drafted and how I played.

Have you tried auto linking the magic cards?

Great idea! Doing that now. Hmm… time to write a tool to take a decklist and generate the linked html for it
